Make Your South Florida Wedding Eco-Friendly
In today’s times, more and more people are focusing more of their time and energy on going green. Some people believe that there is an environmental crisis going on with the depletion of the ozone layer. For those people that are more concerned with the size of their carbon footprint than having an over the top eco-evil wedding, maybe the solution is a green wedding. Although it is expensive to go all out eco-friendly, there are many ways to help the environment while still being money conscious. All it takes is a little bit of planning.
One major way to lessen your carbon footprint on your big day is to get rid of paper invitations altogether. There are all sorts of websites that help you make a fancy evite, while still helping the planet. Some websites even track your RSVP’s and send thank you notes so that you can eliminate paper altogether, with everything looking as funky or glamorous as you want it to look. And for those loved ones that aren’t exactly technologically savvy, a few paper invitations going out is much better than everyone invited to the wedding getting one.
Another way is to have your South Florida wedding outside. Having an outdoor wedding cuts out almost all eco-evil aspects. Also, having the ceremony and the reception at the same place cuts down on fuel emissions, and guests can’t get lost. Somewhere like the beach, or a golf course, or maybe even some type of garden would be the ideal place to throw an outdoor wedding that was also eco-friendly.
